Litch and Friel show short at Seattle International Film Festival

The Orcas Island Film Festival’s winning short, “It Takes An Island,” directed by Bob Friel and Tashi Litch, was named an official selection of the Seattle International Film Festival. It is the largest, most highly attended film festival in the United States.

“It Takes An Island” will show as part of SIFF’s Legends of the Pacific Northwest collection on Monday, May 28 at noon at the SIFF Cinema Uptown.

Tashi and Kai Litch’s band, Brograss, which is featured in the film, will be playing at the Northwest Folklife Festival on the Saturday before the film’s SIFF premiere.
