A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a mahogany suitcase-style tool box stolen from a Chevrolet truck parked in West Sound Marina on Aug. 22.

The contents of the box are hand tools, many of which are irreplaceable and of great sentimental value to their elderly owner. Some of the tools have been in his possession for more than 70 years.
