Saturday, August 14:

Food drive at Island Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As shoppers enter the store, they may pick up a “shopping list” of the 10 items needed most by food bank clients, and there will be bins outside the store to collect donations.

Info booth at the library fair. Volunteers will be available to share information about the food bank, proposed building project and matching grant.

Saturday, August 28: Open house and new building fundraiser. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy a BBQ hamburger lunch, tour the current food bank, meet our volunteers, and find out about the new building.

Held at the lower level of the Orcas Island Community Church, at 176 Madrona St.
