Guitarist Bobby Patterson, bass player Bob Ehrgott and drummer Zach Cooper promise “smoking hot blues” in an act that is “danceable and fun”.

“Stealing the show at major music venues, blowing away audiences, and winning award after award – both collectively and individually – is what the music industry has come to expect from the Fat Tones,” writes band spokesperson Kris Sterling. “…the Fat Tones’ musical skills have evolved into a high-impact, progressive fusion of blues and rock that leaves their audiences begging for more. Precise synergy of rhythm, percussion and world class guitar playing, topped off with fun, fresh lyrics and pitch perfect 3-part harmonies best describes the magic this band consistently delivers.”

The band has released five CDs and won three IEBS Awards in 2009, including “Best New Album,” “Best Male Blues Vocalist” and “Best Male Performer”.

Food will be available for purchase from Sean and Suzie Frank from the Cascade Bay Grill. Bar proceeds from the evening will benefit The Orcas Island Lions Club.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, available at Ace Hardware, Madrona Bar and Grill, Eastsound Instrument and Supply and Rosario Resort.
