The Viking baseball team soundly defeated Darrington on April 14, with a score of 17-9. “They felt really good, they were pumped up,” said coach Christian Gardiner. He said the boys had a great time on the field, hitting well and playing decent defense. Nine of the players scored a run or got a hit during the game. The Darrington pitcher handed out a few walks, and Logger defensive errors contributed to the win.
