Doe Bay Cafe is hosting a Gourmet Winemaker’s Prix Fix dinner featuring Stephenson Cellars of Walla Walla on Friday, Oct. 15 to benefit the Funhouse.
Seating is by reservation from 5 to 8 p.m. Call Doe Bay Cafe at 376-8059. The meal is $75 per person; wine flight is $20 per person.
The four course dinner includes:
Jerusalem Artichoke Soup, seared Alaskan Weathervane Sea Scallops, crispy Jerusalem artichoke chips, crème fraiche and truffle oil; Doe Bay Garden Roasted Red and Golden Beets with fried smoky chickpeas, chevre, oil cured olives, lemon salt; a choice of Seared Alaskan King Salmon, warm corn and chanterelle salad, wilted Bloomsdale spinach and frizzled leeks or Blue Hubbard Squash Agnolotti: Local apples, red onion, toasted pecans, lacinato kale, rosemary cream and spiced cider syrup; choice of Black Pepper and Honey Panna Cotta with Grilled Figs and Pomegranate or Chocolate Caramel Tart with Fleur del Sel Caramel Ice Cream.
