Are you getting ready for boating season? It’s just around the corner. One of the ways to get ready is to review the essentials of boating safety, and that is the topic of a special presentation at the Olga Potluck on Saturday, April 14.

Orcas resident Dave Tribolet, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, will speak on Boating Safety. Tribolet will also have on display safety and rescue equipment. Everyone is welcome at Olga monthly potlucks, which are held at the Olga Community Center. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., and dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Everyone brings an appetizer, a main dish or a dessert plus a place setting.
