Homecoming assembly a success | Football and barbecue on Saturday

During the Homecoming football game on Saturday, the Orcas Island Booster Club and OIHS ASB will be teaming up for the 2nd Annual Homecoming Salmon BBQ. If you missed this last year you do NOT want to miss it this year! Thanks to Troller Point Fisheries for their generous donation of salmon to make this event possible.

The Vikings came out with a big dose of school spirit during its annual homecoming assembly on Oct. 23. Students and staff presented lip synching, dance routines, games and crowning of the homecoming royalty.

On Saturday, 10/24 starting at 1:30 p.m. the Vikings football team will play Concrete. This is also the last home game for the football team so seniors and their parents will be recognized, along with the homecoming royalty. The OIHS pep band will be playing to help root on the Vikings.
