The Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company will perform their award-winning showcase “Simply Ballroom,” on Thursday, May 13 at the Orcas Center. The dance company incorporates lifts, costumes, and ballroom dances including the Latin Samba of Brazil, the Slow Waltz of Austria, the rhythmical Cuban Cha Cha, and the Spanish Paso Doble in the performance.

The dance company is traveling from Cedar City, Utah for this one-night engagement. The SUU Ballroom Dance Company has toured and performed throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Latin America.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors, students and children under 12 and may be purchased online at www.orcascenter.org or through the Orcas Center box office Thursday through Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. or by phone at 376-2281.
