Your mission of ensuring a healthy living environment for all and creating systems that increase physical and mental well-being focuses on those in our community who might otherwise go unnoticed. In the first half of 2010 our volunteers have provided over 1,000 hours of service to elderly and disabled adults in the form of friendly visits, personal care, transportation, errands, and simple household chores.

These services are often a critical factor in helping our recipients improve their quality of life and maintain their independence. The spirit of both volunteers and recipients quietly contributes to the overall quality of life for all on Orcas Island. We couldn’t do it without your support.
