Senior center to hold art auction event

The Orcas Senior Center is hosting an art auction that will feature more than 200 paintings, photographs and prints. Everyone is invited to drop by the senior center weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. beginning June 13 to place silent auction bids, see the artwork and buy tickets for the live auction event.

The Orcas Senior Center is hosting an art auction that will feature more than 200 paintings, photographs and prints. Everyone is invited to drop by the senior center weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. beginning June 13 to place silent auction bids, see the artwork and buy tickets for the live auction event.

On July 9, there will be musical entertainment (featuring Skye Hovelman and students of Martin Lund) wine, hors d’oeuvres by Christina Orchid and a live auction with very special and unique art pieces. That day will be the last time to place bids for the silent auction.

Tickets for the July 9 art auction can be purchased at Darvill’s or at the Orcas Senior Center. They are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. All proceeds benefit the senior center.
