‘Rock on the Rock’ choir sessions return to Orcas Center

“Rock on the Rock Singers” is returning to the Orcas Center for another six-week series. “This fun and highly entertaining group provides a great outlet for singers of all types,” said choir director Grace McCune.

“This fun and highly entertaining group provides a great outlet for singers of all types,” said choir director Grace McCune.

The music in this series will offer a wide range of styles from Nat King Cole to The Mamas and the Papas and U2. The singers are accompanied by Ron Myers on the piano and Robert Austin on drums.

“Rock on the Rock Singers” will meet every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. starting Sept. 1. Rehearsals are in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center and will culminate in a free performance open to friends and family.

To register, show up on the day and time of the class. There are no auditions. The cost is $55 for the six-week series.
