Camp Orkila’s Fall Festival

On Friday, Oct. 24, Camp Orkila will celebrate fall by opening camp to the community for the annual Fall Festival and Haunted Hayride.

On Friday, Oct. 24, Camp Orkila will celebrate fall by opening camp to the community for the annual Fall Festival and Haunted Hayride.

From 3 to 6:30 p.m., there will be wall-climbing at the Big Red Barn, bow and arrow practice at the archery range, pumpkin carving, face painting, cider pressing, and bobbing for apples. Hot dogs and hot apple cider will be served,

From 6:30 to 7:30, the little ones are invited to bundle up and snuggle together for a low-key tractor tour around the farm, with just a dash of Halloween surprises on the Kiddie Hour Haunted Hayride.

From 7:30 to 9 p.m. the Haunted Hayride – for the brave of heart and screamers alike – will depart from the Garden/Horse Arena area for a tour of terror around camp and into the woods.

Visitors are asked to arrive at camp through the main entrance on Mount Baker Road and follow signs to parking areas.
