The Orcas Island’s Parkinson’s Support Group is welcoming Dr. Adam Hebb, who will speak to islanders and answer their questions on Friday, June 15, at 1:15 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center in Eastsound.
All who are seeking information about Parkinson’s disease are urged to attend, particularly those who have the disease and others who have loved ones with the disease. Hebb will answer questions of both loved ones and those who are providing such care.
Dr. Hebb is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery based at the University of Washington Medical Center. He is a professor of neurosurgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and did his internship and neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota.
