The Orcas Island Historical Museum invites volunteers to act as greeters at both the Crow Valley School Museum and the Eastsound Log Museum for the summer season, which is from the end of May through September. Shifts can be as little as two and a half hours every two weeks.

Orientation for the Crow Valley School will be on Saturday, May 9 at 11 a.m. Richard Schneider and Bud McBride will treat the group to tales of the school’s history. The schoolhouse is on Crow Valley Road, next to the Turtleback Preserve north trailhead.
