The American Legion Post 93 will hold its annual salmon derby on Saturday, Jan. 26, and Sunday, Jan. 27.

There is over $2,6oo in prize money. The $50 entry fee can be paid at the legion or mailed to 793 Crescent Beach Drive or by credit card by calling the legion at 360-376-4987 during business hours 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Entries must be received on or before Jan. 25, registration will be open at legion on Jan. 25 from 4 to 11 p.m.

Dinner will be offered each night. All registered fisherpersons are eligible to participate in the door prize drawings Saturday night. All great door prizes are donated by many local businesses. It is also their annual membership drive.

All proceeds from the derby go towards supporting the post’s ongoing local and veterans’ projects. Rules and registration cards are available at www.orcaspostg3.org/events/salmonderby.
