Emmanuel Church will begin a monthly series of Community Dinner Kitchens on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the new Parish Hall.
There’s a strong indication that Santa plans to leave children’s toys at this first event, for which music also is planned.
“Have lunch at the food bank and dinner at Emmanuel,” suggests Tom Murdock, head of the series, referring to the lunches that four local churches take turns preparing for 60 to 80 people each Tuesday at the food bank in the Community Church social hall.
The Thursday Dinner Kitchens, including this first one tomorrow night, are free and open to everyone. If you need a ride, call 376-3394.
