Because Eastsound will have fireworks on July 4, Orcas Shuttle will not be making trips to Deer Harbor for the July 3 show, as announced in the print edition of last week’s Sounder.

In the event of a canceled Eastsound show, organizers had planned for the shuttle to make trips from Eastsound to the Deer Harbor fireworks show.

That plan was a backup plan, and will not be needed.

The Orcas Shuttle will be picking up passengers at 8:45 p.m. from the marina parking of Rosario Resort and dropping them off at the Outlook Inn for the July 4 Eastsound show. Shuttles will be leaving the Outlook to return to Rosario 15 minutes after the last fireworks.
