Thank you, everyone, for your participation in the recent Hazel O’Brien estate sale benefiting the Orcas Senior Center. Hazel donated the contents of her home to the Center. We are very grateful to the hard-working volunteers who pulled the sale together in just two days time, to all of the islanders who purchased items, and to those who made extra donations. Most of all, we cherish the thought that was behind this gift; we recognize that Hazel’s donation was a significant decision in her life and we are touched that she included the Orcas Senior Center among her legacy donations.
