The Orcas Island Health Care District is hosting a third virtual Town Hall meeting to provide an update on the Medical Clinic Operator Request for Proposal. This will be the community’s final opportunity to provide feedback to the OIHCD prior to a finalist presentation tentatively scheduled for July 30 from 5 – 7 pm.
The Town Hall will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, following a short Regular Board meeting. The first half of the Town Hall will focus on the details of the proposal from Island Hospital, and the second half of the meeting will allow for community input. The goal is to capture questions from the community for Island Hospital to answer, should the Board proceed with a finalist presentation the following week.
Please visit the calendar tab on the OIHCD website for details on how to access the meeting via Zoom. Questions and comments can also be submitted to the District Superintendent, Anne Presson, in advance of the Town Hall. Superintendent Presson can be contacted by email, annep@orcashealth.org, or via cell/text at 415-999-5611.
Please join us as we continue to offer opportunities for the community to engage in helping to shape the future of health care on Orcas.
