Thank you for supporting Kiwanis flamingos; still time to participate | Letter

The traveling flamingos have been seen heading North! The Kiwanis Club of Orcas wishes to thank all the participates in their fundraising flocking. The flock appreciates your welcoming them and sending them on to a different resting place. The donations raise money for our annual scholarship fund for our graduating seniors. The opportunity to do fundraisers has been severely impacted this past year. Graduation keeps happening and we want to keep giving scholarships along with other support we have been able to do for the youth of our community since 1990!

If you have been honored with the flamingos, someone thinks you are special and you will help keep the birds on the move! A donation of $50 (or more) not only feeds the birds but puts money into our fund. Help Kiwanis by flocking someone before they go south for the winter!

October is time to renew membership and welcome new Kiwanians. For more info please go to our web site to learn more about how you can become a member. We need you involved for us to continue to help our youth . Check our website, www.Orcaswiwanis.com. Call Velma at 376-6847 to arrange a flocking or for more info. If you would prefer to just donate to Kiwanis please mail a check to Kiwanis Po Box 1375 Eastsound Wa 98245 or go online and press the donate button on the top right hand corner!
