Maarta left us too soon after a year-long battle with cancer.

A very special wife, mother, daughter and friend to many because she was so engaging. Her inclusiveness, smile and genuine heart impacted so very many.

A life well-lived in the Seattle area and on Orcas Island. Surviving are husband Zack, son Matthew, stepsons Kai and Andrew, parents Drew and Kathy Vandenberg plus many family and friends.
