The Orcas Island Trail Blazers 4H Club raised $347 by giving pony rides. Nine riders worked for six hours each, giving rides to families visiting Camp Orkila and to local families. We worked so that we could use the money to fix the fairground stalls in Friday Harbor. We would repair the wire in the stalls so it would be safe for both horses and riders.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to do this. The money was stolen from Lorena Stankevich’s class room at Orcas Elementary before she could take the money to the bank. We would appreciate it if the person who stole our money would please return the money. The money would be returned with no questions asked. Please put the money in the night drop at Islanders Bank. Thank you.
