Join Portland-based artists Jacob Miller and Love, DEAN for a special co-headline bill of soul, folk and roots music at the Orcas Center on Saturday, March 25.
Love, DEAN brings a handcrafted musical mosaic of vintage soul, gospel, and folk. Musicians, singer-songwriters, and husband and wife duo Rachael and Luke Price, bring back the feel-good vibes of classic Americana. Rachael’s stunning vocals and pointed lyrics, along with Luke’s raw harmonies and soul-influenced guitar culminate in undeniable chemistry. With two voices and an old electric hollow-body guitar, they create music that is honest, timeless, yet uniquely new.
Jacob Miller is an artist that creates with intention and integrity. Preferring lyrical precision over flashy production, Miller’s skillful yet effortless guitar style serves as a modern take on the established yet expansive genre of Singer-Songwriter. With unusual candor and intent, Miller stands apart for his thoughtful musicality and timeless sound. You may have seen Jacob Miller during the 2022 Summer Concert Series on the Village Green, and we’re excited to welcome himto the main stage!
