The Orcas Island School District No. 137 will be completing 2011–2012 budget extensions for the General Fund, the Capital Projects Fund, and the Debt Service Fund, and placing the same on file in the school district office by Friday, Aug. 10 and a copy thereof will be furnished to any person who will call upon the district for it.

On Monday, Aug. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the district library, the board shall hold a public hearing and may adopt the extensions to the 2011 – 2012 General Fund, Capital Projects Fund, and Debt Service Fund budgets  Any person may appear at the meeting to be heard for or against the budget extensions or any part thereof.
