A group of islanders has organized a bake sale for Sunday, Dec. 17 to benefit relief aid in the Middle East.

Starting at noon on the Village Green, Brea Currey, owner of Seabird Bakeshop, Lisa Fossen, owner of Sweetcraft Bakeshop, and Shawna Hanan, Sofia Po and Jenn Moonbrick are holding a benefit bake sale where proceeds will be donated to American Near East Refugee Aid, an American 501 non-governmental organization that provides humanitarian and development aid to the Middle East, specifically the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Jordan.
