Time to clean out under the sink and in the garage: ORS/The Exchange will host a Household Hazardous Waste collection event at the Orcas Transfer Station on Saturday March 23rd, from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is free to all Orcas households (businesses need to contact us directly).

This is a mid-year event, and therefore we cannot accept liquid fuels (hold on to those until June 1st, when have our annual summer clean up event).

As always oil-based and latex paint will NOT be accepted at this event. Paints and stains are recyclable, and ORS accepts them every day, year-round, for free.
