Tickets for Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival’s 27th Season will be available for purchase at 7 p.m. on June 21! The season kicks off on August 2 with the return of the beloved Gryphon Trio performing with OICMF Founder and Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann and pianist Illia Ovcharenko. The Festival runs through Aug. 17. Performances from world-renowned artists include violinists Robyn Bollinger, Cho-Liang Lin, and Margaret Batjer, guitarist Mak Grgić, pianists Jon Kimura Parker, and so many others! The programming will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Clara Schumann, Franz Schubert, Django Reinhardt, and Stephane Grapelli, Astor Piazolla, and other great composers. OICMF will offer five 7:30 p.m. concerts, each repeated the next evening at 5:30 p.m., at Orcas Center. Each 5:30 p.m. concert also will be available by donation via livestream. Daytime events and pre-concert events, including a mini-Gryphon Trio Tango concert, are also a part of this extraordinary Festival Season.
