The Olga Symphony plays again

The Olga Symphony is pleased to announce they will carry on a favorite holiday tradition, their Thanksgiving weekend concert, on Nov. 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. This year, the show is moving to the Grange.

Melinda, Gordon, Z, JP, and Anita look forward to sharing the evening with you, with plenty of great tunes, old and new, fine clothes old and new, and good times and jokes, old and new. Come join them for a mix of guitar, fiddle, bass, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, saw, and of course the Symphony’s trademark sweet and fun vocals.

Tickets are now available at Darvill’s Bookstore (cash or check only). Please note — advance ticketing will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. After that, tickets will be available at the door, starting at 6:30 p.m., before each show (cash, check or credit card).

As always, admission is by donation, and also as always, the Symphony will pass along all ticket purchase proceeds to island charities. The Symphony appreciates your gift, through your generous ticket donation, to our community.

Paula will be there with her cookies, too, and there will be CDs available for those who are really into traditional things.

The band looks forward to sharing this wonderful holiday time with you.
