Actors Theater of Orcas Island will hold open auditions for this holiday classic on Nov. 24, 4 p.m. at the Grange.

The play is done as an old-fashioned radio show. The audience watches the show in the “studio”, complete with microphones, applause signs and a table set up for creating sound effects. The cast consists of people of all ages and genders, including roles for girls and boys.

The cast will read from hand-held scripts, so no memorizing required! There are only four rehearsals, Dec.5, 7, 11 and 12. Performances are Dec.13, 14 and a matinee on Dec. 15.
