Steady rain and blustery southeast winds greeted the 106 sailors comprising 19 Northwest District Interscholastic Sailing Association high school teams on Saturday, March 14 at the Western Washington University Lakewood Sailing Facility. Orcas fielded three teams comprised of 13 sailors who competed in the day-long north regional regatta on Lake Whatcom. Ten races were completed by 5 p.m., and the Orcas teams sailed well, finishing fourth, seventh and 10th in the 19-team fleet.
