Islanders are invited to join Patty Miller, candidate for the San Juan County Council District 5 position, in a discussion on current issues facing the community.  

Share your questions, concerns and suggestions on topics that will be decided by County Council over the next several years. The meeting will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Eastsound Firehall.

Topics will include solid waste, critical areas protection regulations, shoreline management plan updates, transportation, county budget and topics brought up by participants.

“As a candidate for County Council whose responsibility is to represent you, I consider it extremely important that I understand the broadest community perspective,” Miller said. “What is most important to you?”
