Join Robert d’Arcy, captain of the schooner Martha, as he shares the highlights of a year of offshore sailing and racing. In 2014–2015 Robert and his crew sailed “Martha” from Port Townsend to California and Mexico, and then participated in the 48th Transpac race from California to Hawaii. Martha was built in 1907 and is Washington state’s oldest working sailboat. In 2015 she was the oldest boat to have ever sailed in the Transpac.
The talk is on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at Odd Fellows Hall. Admission is free; donations are welcome.
