Orcas beat Lopez in three straight on Thursday, Oct. 28, in a spirited Senior Night match-up. Set scores were 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.
Concrete continued cracking under Viking pressure on Oct. 26, as the Orcas volleyball squad pulled off a 3-1 win, joining the girls soccer team in victory.

The Lady Vikings’ league record is 5-5 after this Tuesday’s win against Concrete, 3-1.
After one last regular season game against Lopez this week, the team will play a league tournament in Mt. Vernon this Saturday.
The Vikings season ended this week with games against Cedar Park Christian and Shoreline.
“Overall it was a really successful season,” said coach Matt Stolmeier. “Even though we didn’t make playoffs, we did get a couple league wins and saw a lot of huge improvement in our team play and tactics.”

The Viking boys soccer team is tied for third place in the Northwest 2B league, with a record of 2-4 in league and 4-7 in non-league play.
