April Pollock is the manager of Clever Cow Creamery, an ice cream shop, which is opening early June in the Eastsound Square on the street side.
The hours of the shop will be 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. They will serve premium ice cream with more than 16 flavors and homemade waffle cones.
“There will be more menu items as time goes by,” said Pollock, who is pictured at left.
Eventually the owners – islanders who wish to remain anonymous – want to produce their own ice cream.
“The dream of my employers is to employ high school kids and give them a place to work and gain some basic skills,” said Pollock. “And a place for the community to hang out.”
