A unique art show for these safe-distancing times has opened at Orcas Winery. Running through Sept. 7, “Talk to the Animals” is an interactive, socially distanced outdoor art exhibit. According to Orcas Winery co-owner Tera Landman, “people are encouraged to make new friends, talk to the animals, be safe and drink good wine.” The exhibit is open daily noon to 6 p.m.

Local artist Nicole Eva Mueller, also known as NINNI, will showcase more than 10 of her larger-than-life six feet-plus animal characters all over the winery’s property.

Custom animal masks, special products from the artist will be available through Orcas Island Winery, located at 2371 Crow Valley Rd. in Eastsound. For more information, call the Winery at 360-797-5062.
