The San Juan County Economic Development Council will present a free half-day workshop for small businesses and entrepreneurs on San Juan Island on Monday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the community room of the San Juan Island Library in Friday Harbor. The course material will be presented by James McCafferty, of the Economic Development Association of Skagit County. Advance registration required.
