Doty family says thank you

Your prayers and support over the past two months have greatly helped us through the shock, fear and stress that comes when a family member is fighting for their life.

Carl Capdeville has been hospitalized since July 1. We hope he will be released soon. We wish we could tell you he’s coming home to Orcas. He is not …YET. We wish we could say that he is strong enough to receive visitors. He is not … YET. With your positive thoughts and prayers he will.

Carl was a Vietnam veteran. We hope to have most of his medical expenses covered by the VA. You know how that can be a false hope. Carl has been unable to work since the first of June and isn’t expected to return to work until … well we just don’t know. Juliana’s income has also suffered as this illness hit at the peak of berry and catering seasons. Assuming Carl’s medical expenses are covered, they still face very serious financial challenges.

We ask for your help. If you would like to help, anonymous donations may be made into the donations account for Carl Capdeville at Banner Bank in Eastsound. If you would like to send words of encouragement along with a check, please mail them to Becky Doty P.O. Box 26 Eastsound, WA 98245. GoFundMe coming soon.
