With this letter, I would like to strongly support Brian Ehrmantraut for Fire Commissioner (Seat #2) in the upcoming November 7th general election. Brian’s candidate statement in the Voters’ Pamphlet details his extensive elected, professional, and community service experience. He has also served as an OIFR volunteer for many years. His broad spectrum of knowledge and skills will make him an ideal member of the Fire Commission at this challenging moment. As he made clear at the recent League of Women Voters forum he will be focused on good governance, transparency, and getting OIFR into a better financial position.

On a more personal note, I will also add that I have served with Brian on the board of our Homeowners’ Association and have experienced firsthand his calm, intelligent, capable, and reasonable leadership.
