Over the last several weeks, I have been asked by several people, “is the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce?”

To answer that for anyone else who might have the same question, let me set the record straight: the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce is not a member of the U.S. Chamber, nor does it have any ancillary relationship with the U.S. Chamber. We are a member of the Association of Washington Business (the Washington State Chamber of Commerce). Our primary mission is to serve and promote business on Orcas Island.
