We wish to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stepped forward to support our friend Salifu Kamara with his dream of attaining a college education.

The fundraising evening on July 9 at Odd Fellows Hall was greatly successful, with about 70 people attending and over $1500 in donations received. Salifu is half way through a four-year program at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. He looks forward to graduating in 2013 with a degree in international development/international relations and applying himself towards the betterment of impoverished people everywhere.
