Shaw Islanders for Kari McVeigh | Letter

Kari McVeigh is currently our Shaw School superintendent. We think our fellow islanders would benefit from hearing about her effective leadership abilities. Kari works with integrity, she is organized, she listens and she works extremely well with all types of people. She has years of experience and brings many options to the table when decisions need to be made. Her leadership style is to listen and move in the direction that the community wants to go.

Kari worked tirelessly to make affordable housing available for our teachers. Although not easy to raise the funds in a small community, the affordable housing project will have an impact for many generations to come.

Kari has made an incredible positive difference in our community. We are sorry to see her go; however, her skill set is perfect for the wider, San Juan County Council positions. Please join us in voting for a proven leader, Kari McVeigh.
