Sorry for the ferry and SJC fair mix-up

To all the families returning from the San Juan County Fair on Saturday night that were not able to make the trip home with their livestock and for all the confusion during the WSF loading process, I’m deeply sorry.

Jim Corenman, FAC chair, FAC members and I have spoken to WSF and have a solution for next year that will make sure everyone who needs to get back to the other ferry-served islands will have space.

How and why this incident occurred is being looked into.

Again, please accept my apology for not being able to return home with livestock and families.
