I would like to thank the paramedics from Orcas Fire and Rescue that responded to a call on June 8 to the Otters Pond B&B.

I had taken a fall and my daughter (who wanted me to see your beautiful island) was concerned about me, and that’s when the call was made! Every community should have such an excellent team as came to check on me. The response time and my exam were excellent and I am back in Buffalo, New York with only a bruise on my arm and raving to all my friends about your beautiful island and the people who live and serve there.
