As some of you know, Salon Mir Toi has busily been moving from our location in the Eastsound Square to a space behind Orcas Athletics. We never could have done this had it not been for the amazing people that graciously volunteered their time, materials, and continued support. We would like to give credit where credit is due, and say a big THANK YOU to these amazing people.
First, Clyde Duke and Bill McIntosh, you are our heros and saviors. The copper wall is the “piece de resistance”, and gave us the opportunity to continue to express our uniqueness that separates us from being an average salon. Every time we look at the that beautiful copper wall it reminds us of the kindness, generosity, and gratitude that we were given by all, and to always pay it forward.
Then there are Pat and Sydney Crawford. You guys are amazing! You did so much to help us, we don’t even know how to begin to thank you. You were always so willing to help in any way we needed and knew just what to do in all our craziness. Thank you. To our neighbors in Eastsound Square, you will be missed more than you know. You spoiled us in so many ways, and we wish we could just take you with us! We will never stop coming by for our morning coffee at Kathryn Taylor Chocolates! We definitely couldn’t have survived the craziness if not for our Salon Angels! Debbie, Jodi, Tina, Toby and Torah, our emotional saviors.
For our families, Nana (Sharon Mierau), Dave Mierau, Aubrey Piaget, and Adam Bartram, we appreciate you and the love, support and help. To all the rest: John & Katie Curlett, Rick Egger, Nick Goodrich, Sean Kiernan, Zack Leck, Jodi Linnes, Ian Lister, Michael O’Donnell, Gregg Ripley, Raenya Salisbury, George Schermerhorn, Toby Shaner, and Jake Ralth: You are ALL so amazing, and we could not have done this move without your help! You are all appreciated so much, thank you.
