Thank you so much for the article and photos, “Happy Endings for Pound Pooches.” My husband and I were very moved by the dedication of Thayne and Chris Hamilton in caring for older, often unadoptable dogs, Susan Weber for her Dalmation Rescue and Carol Parks, the independent animal rescue coordinator. We live part time on Orcas and on our next trip we think the highlight will be the opportunity to meet some of these wonderful residents and their furry friends. We also appreciate the contact information for making donations to such worthy causes.
