Many thanks to all who supported Orcas Island Community Foundation and the Senior Center GiveOrcas campaign which raised its final goal of $9,500 for the OSC nonprofit to provide foot care services for seniors, to purchase necessary equipment and to improve the treatment room. Special thanks go to all the OCS board, staff, volunteers and San Juan County personnel who publicized the needs and services of our foot care nurses.

Many people, and especially our elders, suffer foot disorders that lead to pain and reduce mobility, independence, and quality of life. They are often not mobile or flexible enough to address their own foot care and require professional foot care services to manage foot problems. Regular, ongoing foot care is essential to good health and wellbeing.

The senior center foot care nurses invite anyone to learn about our services and to inquire about receiving free or reduced foot care services. Stop by the front desk or call the Senior Center at 360-376-2677.
