The Sons of the American Legion would like to extend our appreciation to the public that attended our prime rib dinner at the American Legion Post 93 on Jan. 24. This dinner is a major fundraiser for our Shoe Drive that annually provides much-needed shoes for local kids. This service has been our honor for almost 15 years that we look forward to continuing far into the future. We thank everyone who helped us sell out at record pace and for the contributions that come in throughout the year. The Sons of the American Legion, a unit of the American Legion, use our membership fees and fundraisers to support the Shoe Drive, Orcas Island High School graduate scholarships and veteran services.
