Thank you, Orcas Island community! Thank you, all volunteers! Thank you, members of American Legion Post 93! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Once again we find ourselves trying to find the words to tell you how much your generosity and the giving of your time, talent, and money mean to those of us who have shared your care, concern, and kindness.

In spite of the unpredictable economics and unsettling changes that affected us, our families, our neighbors and acquaintances, the members of our community did what they have always done: GENEROUSLY attended and supported our causes.

The volunteers within American Legion Post 93 members (Post, SAL, and Auxiliary) were able to pull off some great events that were well attended and funded many of our goals. Although many of those events included lots of volunteer hours and hard work, they were also great fun! We could not possibly name all the names of those who always give their share … and then give some more … you know who you are …. and so do we.
