I would like to explain why I am so thrilled about the new house that was moved in for the new OPAL housing collection in Eastsound.
What a big example of recycling!
During the 1950’s six other girls and myself, all teenagers, met in that house for our twice monthly 4-H meeting where we learned beginning sewing, assorted crafts, basketry and manners. The 4-H stands for heart, hands, health and head.
What a great way to preserve a memory, its the white house at the back of the lot with a green roof.
